@abenoseimei89 So sorry for the late response. This video was actually old even when it was posted ( I made it when I was just entering high school) and I'm actually thinking of removing because of how embarrassing it is to see. The only reason I haven't so far is because I like to allow people to see this as a example of where I once was. That being said, some of the information in here is not as well explained, and others are wrong as you have noted. This is partially because...

I myself have been to Tokyo and loved it. I went to the Studio Ghibli museum for a day and it was the best day of my entire life. I also get how Japanese religion affects anime. My final for drawing class was based on a Japanese painting. I think it was called '1000 Demon Parade' or something like that. A few animes I have seen have weird demon parades or parades of possessed objects (Tsukumogami.) See Pom Poko and Paprika to see these animated parades for yourself.
I like anime, but it does really cheese me off that(not that it is mentioned at all -which annoys me) there was a need to have an anime orientated video just because we are talking abut japanese mythology. Anime is everywhere even in classical pieces unrelated to it, moderation guys.....

@rehanabey Actually and your right this should be in the title, the project was supposed to be Japanese mythology in anime. It was a more narrow focus. It also why some of the more commonly known Japanese myths such as the creation myth were omitted, as I have not seen an anime depicting them.

..as buddhist monks.
The bird tengu are called Karasu tengu, and the long nose tengu are called Yamabushi tengu.
^_~ Just a little information/ constructive criticism. I really like your video. Mind if I make a response video?

@abenoseimei89 I didn't understand some of these things at the time, and also because I was using very old source material (only books) that was not focused on just Japanese mythology.
I would love if you made a response, but be prepared that I may respond to that myself with the new information that I have acquired since.
