This trick is either edited or he uses an invisible tube.

You sound pretty smart so im trying to think how you didn't go through the thought process of 'if it was tied to the ceiling then how would it move forward...pause in another position...and then begin moving again in another position'. i mean c'mon man, think a little bit before you make unintelligent comments that everyone can read

Quite simple.
All you need is a great program to fake the card levitating, and edit AT THE PRECISE second where he actually grabs the card.
