so i looked this up... "Never to see any other way" is from the song "A Day in the Life" by the Beatles, which John Lennon wrote based on reading a newspaper... and the first story is about a death on the front page, but it's just part of everyone's routine to gloss over the story on the front page and it becomes forgotten...
so that line must be related to the person that died... they'll never see any other way because they've seen their final moment - which ties into this song...

...which i think is about someone regretting the final impression that they left on someone else in a relationship that ended by a tragedy outside of either of their control... so it's Jesse telling everyone to not take life for granted because you don't know when your final moment may be...
...but i can't say that this is the "right" interpretation, since i don't know, but that's my interpretation so far... maybe "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" is about this same incident...
