@ROADSNAKE90ROADSNAKE i dont know about west coast fish averaging 18-32 alot of rivers on the west coast have the steelhead averaging more like 32-42. Clearwater, for example my backyard we catch lots of fish over 40 every year.

So are you playing these fish in on 6 lb line alot? Like a mono for the stretch? because thats a nice fish! :)

Nice catch!!! We like to see them reels screaming.

Nice, sounds like some good fishing then.

That is just insane, good for you guys. Good vid btw.
You guys seem to have pretty good steely fishing out east..... whats a typical catch rate for you guys in a day?

last couple years 12 fish would be a good day but we used to average 20 - 30 in years past

12 fish average? Do you guys consider 15 inch bows steelhead? Or do you guys just have a bunch of large fish?

we consider the bows that migrate into the streams every spring and fall from the great lakes to be steelhead-we have a few different strains from the west coast-most are 18" -32" with a 5 or 6lb average but i landed a 22 lb fish a few years back
