The Salt Lake Valley Health Department Injury Prevention program has produced "Two Stories Parents Would Rather Not Tell: A Salt Lake County Perspective". Stories are told by two Salt Lake County families that tragically lost their teens in motor vehicle crashes in 2008.

The personal messages to teens as well as their parents are very powerful. The short clip, produced by the Salt Lake Valley Health Department, is intended for young drivers specifically at Alta High and West High. However the message is relevant to all young drivers and their caregivers.

The stories of these Salt Lake families and eleven others from across Utah were originally included in a 2008 Teen Memorial booklet published in collaboration with the Don't Drive Stupid Campaign. Salt Lake Valley Health Department is a participating partner in this campaign.
