Obama - I volunteer to be an advisor to yourself or any you see fit in your cabinet. I am considered by those who know me to be absolutely diplomatic, capable of reaching mutually agreeable interpretations of competing interests & generally well spoken. I appreciate all partys, understand why each may feel the way it does & can see an improved synthesis of all ideals before us. The past was good to get where we are. The future asks us to grow even more from here to new and better ways.

I'm a senior citizen, only 6 years from retirment age, and I like Barack Obama's common sense approach to the issues that matter. He actually has a plan, concrete plans to make America better for all of us! That's exciting! I am impressed, too, that he is willing to sacrifice by including himself in the higher income tax bracket, and being an example to those who can afford to pay more so the less affluent can be helped. His selflessness, compassion and common sense remind me of JFK.

I find it interesting how comments must be approved before being posted...I can understand harsh language, name calling..etc...but comments relating to Obama's voting record that shows the facts aren't posted either...so this is the "Fairness Act" in practice I see. It starts with CENSORSHIP and then to SOCIALISM.

S.Amndt 583 - Death tax reform protecting family farms, businesses and families.

S.Amndt 578 - Repealed the Death Tax

S.Amndt 478 protecting 28 million families from 3% tax increase

S.Amdnt 473 - save families from Alternative Minimum Tax

S.Amndt 489 - establish reserve fund for Social Security

S.Amndt 154 - improved access to affordable healthcare
