Absolutely. An atomic blast is so hot it evaporates everything close to the blast; concrete, steel, glass, and of course flesh and bones.

They don't. Once the shock wave hits the camera, they get bounced around. These cameras are a long way from the blast, and that you see the blast long before the shock wave and sound from it reach you (at that distance.) Since sound and shock waves travel faster through ground than air, you would hear and feel the earth rumble before you heard the blast (assuming you were a good distance away from it.)

The russian made 'Tsar' is the most powerful nuclear devise ever created yeilding 100 megatons and seven of them can be loaded onto a single ICBM called 'Energia'. Literally hundreds of these can be sent anywhere on the planet within an hour...
