It's short because you would get bored waiting for the next good lightning strike (although there were a lot of good ones that night). I have more, but I will have to look through my footage some time.

It's too bad YouTube doesn't give you many video controls such as slow motion, or an option to watch frame-by-frame. It's amazing to watch how the lighting starts and grows.

Great suggestion. I'm exploring this option now. Just saw your lighting video. You're braver than me to be filming outdoors that night. That lightning looked like it may have hit between you and the car, but it could have been an illusion.
