  • Hey Dave,

Can u recommend me a good overdrive pedal? I own the Ibanez tube screamer 808, are there any better out there?

  • @vesspa1986 - very on topic question... keeley808, maxon vop9

  • thank you for using a bassman RI.

  • I use Maxon pedals for overdrive. OD9 & VOP9. Video demos of these and more coming soon.

  • i love weiner in my ears

  • Ohh thank god, I am so glad you did an effects demo, I'm so tired of the other demos that go over the paperwork and looks for most of the video and then a poor demonstration of the actual pedal.

    5/5, more please!

  • @vesspa1986 that is a good pedal! the boss overdrive pretty good, i use a big muff russianaddition its a fuzz but it gets out there, just check out the demos on the you tube

  • @vesspa1986 I've tried so many over my 37 years of playing starting with a '75 Big Muff (eww) but what I now love the most is my KEELEY BOSS DS-1 from Keeley himself. This thing is has an incredible stength but w/a softness that lets my Marshalls still sound like themselves. It's also rediculously quiet even with pedal gain all the way up and it also will sound killer when youre running clean. Also the now defunct Boss turbo overdrive (pre '88 Japan model only) is a great '80s metal companion!

  • Essential equipment if you`re going to be making soundtracks to 70`s porn movies!

  • I'm looking for a pedal that could help me get some Jerry Garcia-like tones out of my guitar, would this be a good one? I'm also looking at the micro q-tron just because it fits more into my budget.

  • @ayhaby just try a wah pedal, all the modulation effects can be simulated close enough with a wah imo

  • i'm making a search right now to see if its possible to optain tones like Stevie Wonder's 'superstition' or 'so what the fuss' from my guitar

    1- Is it?

2- Should i try an envelope filter or synth or what?

  • sounds like a buckethead pedal

  • wow!!! cool dave weiner! :D

i only clicked on this video by accident--i didnt expect to see him :)
