Guys the point of the Bambi part is because that's the scene RIGHT after Bambi's mother's death. It's just an ironic/somewhat humorous thing.

@ComaComaComatose Yes, Hughes dies in Fullmetal Alchemist episode 25. Brotherhood isn't a sequel to the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime however, it's instead an anime that follows the path of the manga. In that series Hughes dies in episode 10. (Which is in part my point. his death left much more of an impact on me in the original anime, while in Brotherhood it felt a little rushed and the cheery closing at the end kinda felt like a slap in the face)

Actually, I think that Envy should have transformed into Elicia. That would make it the ultimate death because he spends the entire series showing his daughter off so it would be so much more sad and heart touching.

@FlautistRedemptions You've got a point there. I've never thought about it before but he does spend all that time fawning over his daughter. I think it would have been even more unnerving if Envy did change into her.
