Bean sprouts all grow the same way, so these instructions will work for any bean you want to sprout in a bag sprouter. The Hemp Bag is phenomenally easy to use, and beans are the perfect crop to grow in it. This video stars Sproutpeople's gorgeous mix of lentils; Peasant Mix as "The Bean". Happy Sprouting!

  • hi! thanks for this. i'm with sue, the way you washed the bag seemed kind of rough. is it essential to scrub/rub it to get it really clean and free of sprout bits?

  • When you transfer the sprouts to the PEAKfresh bags, are the sprouts dry ? this is a helpful video..I will try!

  • cool video :D

  • My sproutman's bag says not to use detergents & such....only place the bag in boiling water to disinfect it. So I can use your methods without ruining my bags?

Really enjoy watching your videos ;0)

  • the water discolored from the soak could possibly be used as dye (like onion skins can) !

If you can't use it in arts/crafts yourself maybe you have an artsy/crafty friend who would love to have it !

I just bout part of the supplies I need to do all this kitchen farming
