Here's another Mission: Impossible opening montage. This one features episodes from Season 3 exclusively, including an exciting two-part boxing story with special guest star Sugar Ray Robinson.

  • Hey, STAR TREK TOS fans: notice Lt. D'Amato, chief geologist from "That Which Survives" in this montage?

  • Star Trek guest stars crossed over on Mission: Impossible very frequently. Both shows started in 1966 and we Desilu productions that were later acquired by Paramount. There were many actors who appeared in both shows.

  • I was all prepared to LIKE the movie(s) -- despite my feelings about Tom Cruise -- I was actually hoping this would give me a reason to like his work. Then I read that the late Greg Morris ACTUALLY WALKED OUT of the screening of the first movie. (Apparently, because he was so disgusted by what had been done to the franchise.) Sorry, but if you have members of the original cast making such strong statements, you start off with a negative, IMHO.

  • Need I even state the awesomeness?

  • @midknightryder13 Really OMG I can't believe this Tom Cruise has taken it to far. I bet Greg was most upset the fact that SPOILER( Jim Phelps is a traitor)SPOILER ENDED it just ruined the movie for me.

  • @MrLunitunz I so agree

  • @retroguy1976 The movies didn't have to not have the original cast or characters to take away from the series, it took away from the series the second they cast Tom Cruise. And the thing is, these films get unreal praise. The series was an intelligent move away from the James Bond type of espionage, it was a good show and would've made an excellent movie if adapted to the screen as is. Instead they do the exact opposite of what the series set out to do and make an American Bond film. .

  • @MrLunitunz the movie takes away from the old series they shoulda just used the characters like phelps, briggs, cinnamon, rollin hand, barney and willie it woulda make a much better film i knew greg morris before he passed walked out of the movie and peter graves was dissapointed with the phelps character being a traitor to the imf i know part 4 is coming out next week and i have no plans to waste $10 on it!! I only saw part 2 and thought it was ok the old school show ftw

  • @edestci LOL! The biggest guy out of everyone on the team and got stuck in those little matchboxes!

  • Hi, I'm Peter Graves- is this Biology 101 at the University of Minnesota?

  • Barbara Bain and Martin Landau were the best actors the MI series

ever had. Nimoy, Lesley Ann Warren, Barbara Anderson and other cast

members never held a candle to those two. If you watch MI series you

notice how they had to dumb down much of the character dialogue after

they left due to less competent actors.

  • @midknightryder13 All the original cast hated it. Tom Cruise turned what could've been a fantastic feature length adaptation of an iconic television series into a one man show featuring the biggest prick in Hollywood.

My hope is that when Cruise finally stops making Mission: Impossible movies someone with sense can come along and do a proper Mission: Impossible movie.

  • @crocoboxer I saw an episode on netflix with george mr sulu takei

  • Just love the idea that Gregg Morris couldn`t be trusted to wire a plug correctly.
