  • I can't remember was there a technical foul on this play? In the NBA it would have been a flagrant 2 for sure.

  • No, no technical foul was called on this play. Kaili McLaren, who came in for Maya, took and made both foul shots on the intentional foul.

  • maya moore is beautiful

  • That was an immature move Prince did,It wouldn't have seem so bad if she would have went to see was she alright, but all she did was walk right by her..and to deuce0410 umm when maya played rutgers that second time if i can recall maya had what 19 and prince had what bout 9,so u cant say maya isnt clutch, plus in the regional tournament who hit the big three that put uconn up for good,um i think it was Maya, plus if she isnt that good then why did rutgers change their whole game plan just 4 her

  • @UnrivaledShogun your point?

  • @cantgetenoughcorps I guess your a Vols fan with the "illegally recruited" Maya comment? what's illegal about her saying yes to go to a school that she wanted to attend?

  • Geno, just shut the heck up, it was probably not intentional. It looked like she was grabbing for the ball, but a little out of position. I wouldn't complain too much as you illegally recruited Maya anyway.

  • @emncaity well women don't really go pro anyways...most could earn more in a normal field. and a bunch that could go pro decide not to because the wnba is a joke and you never know when it could shut down unless you are a once in a generation player like lisa leslie or candace parker

  • @kellytaylor407 this is barely a foul, this happens in the nba a lot in and no one is ever kicked out...a hard foul but it happens on fastbreaks frequently...just because this is women's basketball auriemma is treating it like too big of a deal because that's what he does to get attention and root on his players...he says womens basketball should be looked on as equal to mens so shouldn't the same fouls be given the same attention? in a mens ball game, this happens and no one speaks out about it

  • Such an unbelievable program. Really. And Geno's kind of a personal hero.

What's more, if I were coaching a high school boys' team, I'd have them watch how the UConn women play. In most HS programs, you're not going to have a bunch of future NBA stars, guys who can dunk over a double-team, that kind of thing, but they can learn to play as a great _team_ and become more than the sum of their parts, like UConn does and like a lot of the best women's programs do.

  • Maya Is an inspiration to a lot of people, she will go down in history as a College Legend, meaning for the next century and probably longer, U will not be able to talk about Great players, or teams in basketball with out mentioning her. Nobody in college did it better. Nobody! Not Kobe, Not Michael, Not Lebron. 90 straight wins!!!! to the girl from Rutgers, u should never cheap shot someone like that, especially a Legend, I'm so glad Maya didn't get seriously hurt. Love you Maya!!!!

  • Uconn should destroy them by 60 points next game.

The irony is that I wasn't even kidding; they could probably pull that off with the way they're playing now.

  • She can play in the wnba i don't know about dominate because the wnba is awhole different level of play and a whole different game but she is my favorite player wnba nba or college :-)

  • she is that good she can dominate in wnba right now
