this is such a dilettante's point of view! look away from the screen, scroll down to the comments or something and just LISTEN! it's all there. his sound quality and the way he plays are really nice for a boy this young!
it's wrong to believe that one has to rock back and forth ALL the time to show emotional involvement with the piece!
the emotions are in the MUSIC that comes out, not in the musician's expression!

Could you tell us the maker of his cello? He clearly makes the sound happen but I am just curious about the maker. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments. Santiago´s cello is by a polish luthier, his name is Jan Pawlikowsky, he made it in 2005.

What a gift. Of course the left hand is brilliant but his bow arm is full of colors and possibilities as well. He has lots of growing to do and lots of time to do that. This is a very exciting start. Good repertoire choices for him - he is getting good guidance. I look forward to following his progress. --Pamela Frame
