@therflo13 Even if it is a straw man argument, you still can't show the logic in religion. Laci actually provides evidence, studies, and research, to back up her claims. Your argument with Laci is that she uses scare tactics (but it's obvious, to anyone who is enlightened, that this is necessary to get attention of the average Western person), how does the church back up their claims?

Oh, they issued a statement mildly discouraging it? Yeah, that *totally* stands up for a child's rights. This isn't some minor offense that "discouragement" is enough for. It is WRONG. It is Immoral! And "discouraging" something like this is practically the same as winking and saying "but it's not that big a deal, so go ahead."
