This music has universal appeal. It will be here long after anyone alive today that makes music is gone. To get this many people to make coherent sounds such as these is amazing.

there's nothing springy or lively about this movement

i also listen to hip hop and appreciate classical music, but i'm 22...the hip hop you've probably heard might be a little closer to 'animal like shouting and cursing', but real hip hop is real expression through words to music, guys like krs-one, talib kweli, mos def (there are plenty more just examples) are actual hip hop artists and don't deserve to be disrespected like that

I prefer Karajan on 4th ..Kleiber he is often off original tempo and rushes though.

I do like Kleiber's interpretation of Der Freischütz though.

It's sad that people can't just let people appreciate whatever music they enjoy without bashing it. I think that is what's really sad.
