Great band. I was at their last show at Mississipi Nights. Was sad to see them go.

@tugboatmam No, he's not dead, his name is Michael O'Hara. I know him well; as a matter of fact I played drums alongside him in a small church in Florissant, MO for 2 years. Then he moved to Branson, (I live in Branson myself); I actually moved to Branson with my family because of him. He got a gig in Branson for a gospel opera that he wrote/produced called "The Isles of Dreams". After 2 seasons it stopped and he moved to Forth Worth Texas about 8 months ago. He's a minister of the gospel now.

I am the entertainment agent in Chicago that booked all of the Chicago area performances for the Sheiks for many years (Joliet, Schaumburg, Mt Prospect, etc). Does anyone know how I can get in touch with any of these guys? They were "hands down" the best act I ever booked in any nightclub, period. If anyone can help let me know. John

Thanks

I don't know if you'll ever see this, tugboatman, but, as the others have said, Michael is alive & well in Branson. But his roommate, road manager & light guy, Phillip Geiger did die in the late 80s.
