just for all ur guys info. This was not a grudge race. It was a moderately modded Mustang vs a Z with nothing more than a catback exhaust and an intake. Who would honestly expect the Z to win? (this coming from the Z driver)

what year is your Z and what mods do you have?

My z is an 05 all bolt ons, central 3.91 final drive, Cobb Tuning Access Port wich did no convinced me so I changed it with unichip pnp but i haven't tune it yet it will do better when i get to complete this step and i'm running stock factory wheels except for tires, i got 275/ 40/17 BFGoodrich tires on the rear, and they are not drag radials,but i'm going to stop talking and post something, i just signed up today.

Both those cars sounded great. I wish my best bud still had his '06 350Z Nismo... it was sick but I had a lifted truck at the time. Right after he sold it I bought my GT.. I wish I could've raced him once.

@Braliz33 also keep in mind that this is just a moderately modded gt. cobras have 4v engines and produce a lot more power with the supercharger.

@Braliz33 when i went to the track with some friends in the local mustang club where i live there was a gt500 that ran 12.11 @ 112 mph with street tires and didn't take any pressure out before running it. he then took pressure out of the street tires and got a better start off the line and ran 12.03 @ 112mph. His gt500 was completely stock even the rims were stock.

@TheZohaun stock cobras can do 12.5 with drag radials, even a worse time with street tires. I am not an expert on the subject maybe I'm wrong. I'll give u a point.

it's been 2 years since I posted that I still have the same 350z, but last year it became a different beast, I got the powerlab kit for it, 428 hp at 9.7 psi on a Mdyno.The engine is now fully built, and i'm just waiting for some time off from school this summer to put eveything together and retune it, I'll definitely post some videos within four weeks, I'm the same guy I just created a new account. but that's good man I like GT's...you know Ford GT's, jk i like mustangs but I prefer imports.
