Facts Dobbs ignores. India bought 2 billion dollars worth of Lockheed planes from America & 1 billion dollar worth Boeing planes this year & announced it will buy billions of dollars worth of power plants from from Westinghouse this year. This will generate massive well paid employment in the U.S. Trade is two ways. Indians consume McDonalds, Starbucks, Nike and every other iconic American brand. As Indians rise we will only consume more American products and thus generate more jobs in America.

75 people at my call center got laid off, including my team leader.

The good thing is that with people like Dobbs getting national attention, the stuff like this that the corporatists have been pulling for some time is getting exposed and people are looking at the implications of this for todays job markets and for the future of our young students some of whom might JUST WANT TO PURSUE A HIGH TECH CAREER SOMEDAY without having to live in Asia.

It is clear that Obama and McCain are not going to do anything to reverse this trend.

What does that leave?

Go Lou! I'm amazed that the powers that be allow him to stay on. No I don't disagree with him, quite the opposite in fact.

Perhaps not 'tateblaze', but that doesn't mean the gov't should be directly SUPPORTING it with tax breaks!

Welcome to globalization Lou. Xenophobia is not going to change things, especially in this new global market. There nothing we can do but just stand and watch, you conservatives are all about less government. Now when something as inevitable as this happens now you want government to butt in and stop the bleeding. I just don't get it.
