Left 4 Dead Glitch: invincible silhouette survivors

*PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING*


This is a strange glitch I came across playing versus on a server one night. The server first showed signs of acting strange when it skipped two stages of no mercy and took us right to the finale. This was played and recorded on PC. It was not the player cheating but just a random server glitch... There was another person doing the same thing but he seemed to press a certain button and "spawned" himself much like infected do when in spawn mode. I have not been able to replicate it but for the record both teams had already played through the finale once and the game didn't end but let the other team go again. That is when this glitch happened. It was not a Valve server but no admin mod was apparent so that may or may not be the source of the problem.

you rarely see hackers in this game, same with TF2. Valve's VAC anti-cheat discourages most.

its a hack, that comes with the aimbot hack, wallhacks, its a wireframe hack.. we figured out a couple months age.

may be it is, but I think in this instance it was a random glitch from a slightly modded server right after the game was released. My friend was "Louis" who was doing this for a short time as well and I know he was not hacking.

Sorry to burst all the "OMGZ HACKER"'s bubbles. But I have had this before. Its where the server gets stuck on the finalle. You are doomed to keep replaying it but at least one survivor gets like that. The survivor themselves spawns with smoker arms as well. And always has smoke arms if he has pistols out
