The EU will not accept it if you give them the 'wrong' answer (i.e. No). Even if Ireland had said no this time, they would've had a 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc, etc referendum until the correct answer 'yes' was given. I'm also disappointed with my country but I wouldnt hold out on UK Conservatives rejecting it. They are divided and don't forget they are a neoliberal right wing party just like New Labour so ultimately they have similar agendas.

Well past the second Lisbon treaty now,after the first one failed to appease,it has been proved to me without doubt that democracy does not exist within Ireland.

Now the IMF are closing in for the kill,with Taoiseach Brian Cowen playing the idiot,pretending to be innocent due to stupidity or incompetence.

We as a nation are in hot water.

We are clutching at straws in the maelstrom,forced to depend on a government that has lied,swindled and cheated us repeatedly and remorselessly.
