I was thinking about getting this same plate. Is it quite sturdy or are there problems with it? You said you've had it for three years so I guess it's been ok until then? It's just so expensive it would be a waste if it wasn't really going to last. There are like three in one waffle, doughnut and toastie makers in the U.K. that break as soon as you look at them. :/

@terujoan Sorry I didn't notice your message sooner. That product by "Tiger" has been replaced with new models since then, but ours is still going strong; can't justify buying a new one.

It's a set. We got it about 3 years ago, it has taco yakki, teppan and another grill we don't use. Great for hotcakes on the teppan.
