@xxxjordanlentzxxx They don't have to like the sound, they just need to hear it coming.
-
@FireBuff51 that's one of the best siren combos i feel
-
@xxxjordanlentzxxx yep. Me too! There are some engines out here that run a Q and Powercall simultaneously. Grabs your attention. LOL
-
@FireBuff51 oh cool. i don't know why some people hate the sound of a powercall. i like it
-
@xxxjordanlentzxxx actually, they have Powercall sirens on a lot of rigs out here. Still haven't seen a Roto-Ray, though. I'll keep looking! LOL
-
@FireBuff51 just like the power call. very popular siren on east coast. i don't believe it's used as much out in Cali. is it?
-
@JoHnIsThEmAn287 a box is the term given to structure fires that gets 4 engines and 3 trucks(or 2 trucks 1 squad)...we do not have any pull boxes like the olden days they don't really exist any more.
-
@DJCPro 5 during the day (captain, tech, and 3 fireman usually 1 rookie) and then 2 that are on the 24/72 shift
-
I wonder why Roto-Rays are so popular back east? Out here in California, you hardly see 'em. They look ugly as sin to me. LOL

@stevenew95 a lot of people don't have that mind set & even with the Q, Air horn & the big truck people set there & look at you funny or just keep driving not even bothering to move. How ever i have scene a new article where a man didn't move over & it was his house on fire slowed first due engine by & minutes lost his hole house
Carma
But thank you for moving over & more people should, but it don't happen like it should< Actually 3 days ago someone cut are engine off going down the freeway
