People forget how good Kobe was in his earlier days. The man was as athletic and quick as Lebron. Just beautiful to watch him play in half-court sets.

uhhh he kinda won the mvp award his 3rd season in the nba. That was before Pippen and Phil Jackson. Pippen and Phil did however help jordan win the next 4 mvps, the next 6 final mvps, a couple of his 10 scoring titles, his defensive player of the year, rookie of the year, 3x steals leader, and a bunch of other worthless things in an nba career :(. I guess those 6 titles arent really worth much because he had some help. Its not like anyone else in nba history had any sort of help to win stuff.
