Automatic 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX very sluggish, wondering if this is the problem, just bad gauges, or normal.
possible causes?

TYPO IN VIDEO, the car gets to 0.09 MPa, not 0.9 (obviously)
i know this is a complete noob question but just need some advice on how to diagnose/fix this sluggishness.

  • Looks normal to me. Either the ECU is cutting boost at higher RPM's by design, or the turbo isn't large enough to supply full boost at higher rpm's. Take control of the boost and see what she can do!

  • everything seems normal in this video i dont see the problem...what you are experiencing is the tappering off of boost by the ecu..your car hits wrx full boost which is around 15psi as we see and then that boost tapers off towards the higher rpms..then next gear full boost it tapers off..next gear full boost. if you get your car tuned it will change the boost characteristics...
