Sound Proof Virtual Exhibit: Martin Guigui & Bernie Sanders

Vermont's musical heritage in a virtual exhibit called Sound Proof: The Photography of Matthew Thorsen, Vermont Music Images 1990-2000. Matthew Thorsen has been documenting the Burlington, Vermont music scene for so long he has become instrumental to it.

In this exhibit, Thorsen's work was created in the mid- to late-1900s when Matt worked with film. He has since moved to the digital format and these chemical prints have become a priceless reminder of a receding era. The interpretive audio features Thorsen describing the subject and context of images, in most cases followed by a song by the musician(s) in the photo.
