And oh yea the metal the motor was made from was tested as no better than patio furniture.
Makes you wonder why Audi didn't bid on it. Oh well.
....except that I understand Christie's have now removed it from sale due to a query as to its provenance. It appears that it is a genuine Auto Union D-type, but not quite the one it was thought to be....
