HI was just wondering is this game a role playing game. I wanted to know because I have this same game. Some times I get a a little mixed up as to what all is considered role playing

This is an RTS game. Real time strategy. It is not role playing game, or RPG.

RTS is when you control armies like that in the game, produce and move them strategically.

RPG is more like you controlling one guy, and trying to live your life in the game, making various decisions in how you want to proceed through your life in the game. There are some excellent RPGs like "Oblivion", and the most recent "Dragon Age Origins"
