Why not earn a GED instead of a high school diploma?
Interview with Dr. June Atkinson, N.C. State Superintendent for the Department of Public Instruction about why a GED is not the same as a high school diploma.
Thanks for the video. I strongly agree with the point you was making that a GED is not a substitute for a High School Diploma. Alot of people mistaken GED as "General Equivalency Diploma," but it's not. It stands for "General Education Development", which allows people to get into some jobs and universities that accepts a GED as alternative to those who failed to complete high school and earn a diploma.
