one of my saddest moments is in the last season "cold turkey" after marrissa dies where julie shows up at thanksgiving after everyone is mad at her and she says to ryan "tell me about her" and ryan talks about the first time he saw her.

I was a die hard OC fan when it was on. Me and my girl friends would have OC nights every thursday. Ryan was a "good guy" in a "bad boy's" circumstances. I cried for days when Marissa died, but to me, that wasn't what finished the show. They should never have had Ryan fall in love with Marissa's worst enemy at school. The viewers didn't like Taylor and all of a sudden we were supposed to embrace the "new" Taylor and Ryan falling for her. It was disrespectful to the loyal "ryan/marissa" fans.
