Thanks for the info guys I tried epiphone sg but the setup was rubbish it just didn't feel well made compared to the epiphone les Paul or the Gibson sg I think ill go for cherry sunburst les Paul.

john i got a tele squire custom i play slide on but i was thinking of getting a les paul do you kno if there any good for slide i kno duane played one do they give you a warmer tone. and also how long are your dvds on discount for i really want to buy them cheers andrew.

@pretty9reenpark4 well i am not john, but i can tell you that humbuckers will give you a warmer tone, duane played a les paul and a 60s sg for slide, so a les paul will get u the sound you want, fenders give you a more toppy glassy tone, think ry cooder or bonnie raitt. but sometimes its all in the amp and your fingers. hope that helped.

@pretty9reenpark4 Les Pauls sound great for slide. You should try out SGs as well. My DVDs stay the same price all the time. The discount price is the permanent price.

Hey John- Love your vids. I'm an old pro touring guitarist that could never do slide well. Been playing guitar for 35+ years- I picked up Lap Steel 5 months ago (for my slide stuff) and your vids have helped me a lot!! Thanks again. Do you have a DVD slide lessons? Thanks!! - D.
