  • dude...you were THAT close to getting a game over. That UFO was heading right for you base and your entire force was out meaning instant lose of base (nobody to defend). This shows that sending all your ships out to patrol is not a good idea, especially your troop transport. Factor in the refuel time and cost later in the game, this will put you in some very sticky situations. Interesting to see another person`s play style though. My friends and I played this before anyone had the internet!

  • @Tsunkuotaku Good job we lasted another 138 videos then...! Gah.

  • Awwh man, this brings me back. If they still made video games like this, I'd still play video games. Have you ever played Deus Ex or System Shock 2?

You already hit 2 of my old favourites, I have no mouth and I must scream and Planescape Torment. Another really odd, obscure adventure game you may enjoy is Dark Seed (Dos).

Anyway keep making Role-playing videos as I find them much more interesting and informative. Good day.

  • @HeathbrookBadhwar I've played both and enjoy both very much!

Dark Seed? I'll keep an eye out.

  • Agreed after seeing the fate of this first squad over the missions these guys should follow the adventure.

  • @smilz58 The game definitely develops into something bigger... and more monstrous. Like a shambling mound or a tumour.

  • It's a pity the 1,000 or so views on this video didn't carry over to the next one! It's really does get better.

  • @Threesixtyci I didn't know about the fullscreen thing you mentioned! I've increased the proportions of the videos in later episodes, but I shall look into your points. Thanks for the help!

  • f you're using Dosbox you can slow down the game by pressing Ctrl-F11. Also, go into the "Dosbox.cfg" file, and try setting the "output" to Openglnb. Set "cycles" to about 30000, and set the "cycleup" and "cycledown" to 1000. Which controls the increments of Ctrl F11 and F12. Press Ctrl-F11 and Ctrl-F12 at anytime to adjust the speed.

Another thing good to set is a full screen binding. Pressing Ctrl F1 in Dos Box pops up the bindings for it. One is for full screen that you must set yourself.
