there is a species of fish called a coelacanth

i think you may be mistaking the term "civilized." what is meant is a way of life characterized by a 'growth in CITIES'.. growing cancers that are dependent on the cheap importation of resources to legitimize the death of the land under those cities. it is not a sustainable model.. no one speaking in this video would use "civilized" as a compliment.. i cannot wait to be uncivilized, sustainable.. there is really no racial component whatsoever.

Calling cultures living simpler, more traditional lives non-civilized is racial bigotry. Look for traditional Japan and many other cultures to see that sustainable lifestyles with limited resources need not be uncivilized. It's the industrial abuse of cheap abundant petroleum that turned blessings into curses - not the foundation civilisations. Technology and global civilisation will remain even after Peak Oil, Peak Food and Peak Population...
