John Newland, our guide into the world of the unknown, brings us two stories of the improbable.
The first takes place in Chico, California in the Sacramento Valley in 1922. Rocks are falling from the sky, ordinary rocks and stones. When the local newspaper makes this phenomenon known to two major newspapers in California, the story it treated with immense skepticism.

Ten months before the event, a young inventor came to Chico then disappeared suddenly.

The second story is about an inventor who has created a pill which converts ordinary water to gasoline. Such an invention would command a steep sale price and that's what the mysterious inventor requests.

  • Thanks for posting these videos. I will watch all of them. One Step Beyond was my favorite tv series when I was growing up in Liberia during the 80s.

  • This show was THE creepiest of the time, and maybe even down to the present day. Sometimes after watching it, I was afraid to go to sleep.

Thanks for making more people aware of this very spooky series.

  • @Cissy2cute It was creepy. Things that go thump in the night. A creak on the staircase. You're welcome Sharon :)

  • My mom used to love this show. Thanks for posting!

  • OMG! Maybe this is a hint....I have a little round stone myself and it rolls around by itself...wonder if it can fly? Don't know how it got in my driveway.....life is full of mysteries....I've read stories like this before....

  • This series was indeed unique, and pretty belivable! John Newland sure knew

his business when he did this series-but this was 1959,when "THE TWILIGHT

ZONE" made its debut,,so it is still amazing as to how well this errie series has

    done,over its 50 plus years!
