Busting Gas Price Myths

As Americans across the country gas up their cars for their Memorial Day getaways this year, their wallets will take a bigger-than-usual hit. That's because gas prices are up $1.06 from last year according to a study by AAA. In fact prices have more than doubled since President Obama took office. And while the media has been slow to demand answers of the President, he has been busy trying to deflect attention away from his incoherent energy policy with a number of gas price-related myths. From overstating the impact of green energy to downplaying the devastating impact of his drilling moratorium, the President should spend less time trying to deflect criticism and more time working to ease pain at the pump.

@scottd38 Point out where I've showed any contempt for the military. I hold YOU in contempt because you want to deny citizenship to anyone that doesn't agree with you. Even Secretary Gates is asking for cuts in the Pentagon's budget. Does he "hold the military in contempt" too? Privatizing medicare doesn't save any money, it just gives money to private insurance companies and it's far worse than any cuts coming from health care reform.

While u talked about someone being in the military in the 18th and 19th century Please. if they knew their family later would hold such contempt would they have had kids? Medicare has been wiped out by obamacare, $500 billion its gone, the effect just hasnt hit yet so privatizing it or undoing obamacare is its only hope...working for a living doesnt make u wealthly. i noticed no demos paid higher taxes hypocrites
