The Top 10 Highest grossing sales of albums by artiests back home in the last 4 yrs was released a few weeks ago by Electra Music Recordings in Addis. As usuall, Teddy collected the number one spot while 9 others followed him in the charts.Here they r from 2 to 9

3 Zeritu Kebede
4 Shewanedag Hailu
5 Evanegadi
6 Tamerat Desta
7 Gossaye Tesfye
8 Johhny Raga
9 Tibebu Werkye
10 Kemar Yusuf
and Abereham G Medhin ended at the 11 spot


For the first time since Electra Music Recordings started to release the names of artiests with the most sold albums. Prominent names the likes of Ephrem, Newaye, Aster, Gigi and others were not included and was shoved aside as by these new and upcoming artiests.
