  • FYI I've changed the settings on this video to allow comments only with approval. Regrettably I don't think I can delete the idiotic, homophobic, insensibly angry ones that were posted months ago, but at least there won't be any more.

  • This is Ava at her best...the first movie of hers I ever saw

  • Burton at his best. An under rated masterpiece of the first water.

  • I love Ava Gardner!!! This is one of my favorite films.

  • "No, no, no. If I start drinking rum coke; there's; no I never stop drinking rum coke."

    - ain't that the truth

  • @softcelltainted22 I agree with you completely! I adore this movie, it satisfies my soul. The acting from everyone is just outstanding, and .......some people are souless heartless dweebs here!

  • Love to see these two together! Wish she would have played more roles like this, she is smokin, baby!

  • Love Ava & Richard in this movie. AVA, RICHARD & ELIZABETH WHAT A TRIO IN MEXICO DRINKING AND SMOKING THE NIGHTS AWAY. PRICELESS.

  • Thanks for posting this fantastic clip.Favourite movie of all time.Ava Gardner was the most beautiful and sensous actress of all time in my book.Great to see the clip with Burton.xx

  • I love Ava's laugh at 0:18.

This film is incredible. Tennessee William's works are always very luscious and smoldering. I love Richard Burton and Deborah Kerr's scenes together.

    Very meaningful and symbolic.

  • If you understand Ava her background, the sensuality and the whole mores of a single women with cabana boys, this demonstrates another role for Burton and Ava that pushed boundaries of common sensibilities of the time.

This is such a luscious movie, and so wonderful, it's just a joy. The dialogue, as usual with Burton is rich, full fun, sarcastic and cutting. He puts on total Welsh attitude bravado and confidence, with a slickness. He wears his soul on his sleeve.

    Great movie.

  • I love Ava!
