Well, there not only a few... I mean, Anime-fans are usually people who buys such games AND like the original language when it's a Anime-themed game. Also, I think most studios didn't make it in, as they're short on disc-space for the PS2/Wii discs. But since Xbox 360/Playstation 3 have enoooooourmous disc space, it's possible to finally include it.

They are mainstream so they know only a few people (hardcore fans) want japanese audio before english. Some "underground" games like Mana Khemia have audio option now, that's a good thing, even Mutramasa on Wii got its japanese audio ONLY. Good hope for the futur... :D

Yeah, and most of the Japanese games were dubbed too.. Without an option to change into Japanese voices, which were even worse. I wonder why Sega still does it, as other next-gen PS3 games contains the singing without problems, as J-music has been more popular lately. I mean, just look at Blazblue, Disgaea 3, Eternal Sonata and Record of agarest war <.< Maybe Sega's just beeing racist.

I was like this almost every time since mid 90. Most of the openings outside Japan lost their song for generic (or even out of place) instrumental.

Some of the instrumentals used were quite good though, but it's a shame that the original was lost every time. :(

  • Yeah, it's a shame that they removed this song from the European and American release... Damn it, that song which they used sucked! I want Japanese singing, damn it!

  • I actually prefer the instrumental track in the US release

  • me want!!!! can you please send it to me?

  • Grr screw you Sega of North America >_> why is this not in the English Version ?!

-well at least they didnt replace it with an english one-

  • Thanks, but I already found a download for the OST of the game and the song is on it. The song is translated as "No Matter the Distance".

  • "どんなに遠くても" (Donna ni tookute mo) by singer JUJU. You'll probably not find it any other way than buying the game soundtrack though, at least not today.
