@victoriaindigo Why do people compare Judy to Whitney? We do not know what caused Whitney's death, can't you wait until the final toxiology report comes out before you assume. Judy's offical cause of death was accidental overdose, and even the officals said that Judy had Chirrosis of the Liver, it was most likely that she would eventually succumb to her addiction, and yes Judy was broke when she died, but Whitney was not broke, she was far from broke. She co-produced several of her albums.

@himsyambrose Actually Lorna does have a spectacular voice as well. She wasnt willing to make the personal sacrifices personally etc that Liza did. Judy herself begged Lorna NOT to go into show business as an adult, though she and her brother were often in judys stage acts as children...

What a sad life that poor woman led. I never knew most of her story and it is so sad for a talent that great and for a lady that wonderful to be used in such a manner. Maybe she has found her happiness at last.

I agree with aaaaDam123, Judy was a very beautiful young woman. And Lorna adored her just as much as Liza and Joe.

I cannot explain the love, admiration and adoration that i have for Judy Garland and it is in my humble opinion that she is the most talented person to have ever come out of Hollywood. Listening and watching to this.. it just broke my heart so greatly, and truly i was on the verge of tears. She was such a beautiful and gifted person, so painfully beautiful, and to see her life come to this sort of end is just beyond tragic. I just hope she knows that even after death she is still adored by many.

And that being said Natalie Wood's death at 43 was way sadder because her husband killed her another OJ in my opinion and I think it was a crime of passion you know and as for Marilyn Monroe at least Judy had children, Marilyn wanted children and she died alone and only at 36. At least Judy broke free from the abusive men in her life like Sid Luft but Robert Wagner tormented poor Natalie Wood and was jealous of her.

Why is it whenever Lorna does a story on her mother is very sad but Liza on the other hand talks nothing but good things to her mother every single day to this very day she says her mother was anything but tragic as a matter of fact she says on her mothers illness that " she was like a flower that gives so much joy and beauty to the world and then wilts away" and I agree I think Judy was just tired it was not the pills, she was tired no money,no nothing ,she was the hardest worker at MGM.
