You think thats bad, my one is next to dead....my computer doesnt even think anthing is there and the ONLY screen I can get it to come up with is the charching screen(while it decides to become a radiator), its a complete kernal and OS failuer (I got the gist of that from the error messages) and apple cant be bothered to actually repair it, they siad: "there's nothing wrond with it".... within 1 week I got 3 serious error messages!

that happened to me and i took it to mac store, they said it was cuz it got wet, but obviously it wasn't (it actually was but the humidity detector wasn't showing water) so they gave me a new one.

hold home and sleep till it turns off then turn it back on. you put it in recovery mode and that is how to take it out.

just put it in recovery mode,
hold the home and power button then let go of the power button after the apple logo pops up.

jailbreak it then if you don't wanna jail break it jail break it and then restore it it should go bak to normal i promise happend to me but i wanted mine jialbroken :P now my screen broke n i'ma get it fixed D: ~i'm on my sisters acc so if u need anything then comment kristinasaur

when you jailbroke 1.1.1 did you install oktoprep from the installer? because it worked for me and i had to do it twice cuz i screwed mine up. try getting a frinds ipod touch and copy everything he has on his ipod and try it it should do the trick. download total comander and the teepot plugin so you can coppy everything using usb. good luck

i was trying to downgrade it from version from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1
