  • hey guess what, if no on stands up to this...we're fucked.

and guess what, no one really knows or gives two shits....thats until its too late.

    Way to go people!

  • In the context of the video, it wasn't exactly "China bashing," as you say. As the CBC tech expert said, this is a beta test for the rest of the world. It was also adknowledged that the funding for this system is coming from American capital.

the world needs to follow china's lead.

  • @Esoparagon

Well once the world come to a 1 world government Australia will be bending over for the leaders like all the rest of us.

  • Thank god I live in Australia. We won't let this crap happen here.

  • Yes, possession of such intimate information is worrying. But hey, if China's own citizens are not making a lot of noise about it protesting in the streets (and unlike Singapore where I come from, at least the Chinese government allows them to do so if it's not a violent one), who are we outsiders to comment? We can have an opinion on issues, either doemestic or intl, based on facts you know, but not stupid bashing. The West, in particular USA likes to play the Big Brother, often unsolicited.

  • Sounds like you just described the USA!

    :P

    Who needs to wake up?

  • Why would China fight a government that, despite its problems, saved its people from YOU western colonialists, pulled millions out of poverty, built everything and industrialized, made people's lives better and better? Why would Chinese people want to get rid of this government that is getting more and more efficient and accountable by day?And you call us illogical. Really, stop fantasizing, China is not Iraq, and Chinese people know what's good for them.

  • Exactly, who the hell are you to judge. Just because you think "personal freedom above all" doesn't mean everyone wants individualist anarchy. The western colonialist built their "primitive accumulation" on the broken backs of millions outside their perfectly neat little world. Now they are wealthy and "free", they forget what hunger feels like, so they parade around shouting, "omg you guys are all evil!" "Why aren't you fighting? I would! Freedom!".

  • It's sad but for some illogical reason people of China don't vehemently loathe and hate their government. Slavery is terrible. I guess you can blame that on the sheep mentality and the media. You see the same thing here, so who are we to judge. We're losing our freedoms left and right most don't know or care.
