@valeriom73 So true. I went to college late so I was like 21 my first year and I got put in athlete dorm, and basically lived with the basketball team. The my first night at college the girls and boys basketball team ran a train a girl, together! Coming home to things like this became normal after a few weeks. So you're aboslutely right, there is nothing in this movie I didn't see happen in real life. Especially with a Program that is winning big. Just look at Penn State.

They don't win, they just make it to a bowl game, not the National title

@daIe26 legs are pretty strong, even on a small person.

If you believe this is how steroids make people act, watch Bigger, Stronger, Faster.

The Georgia Tech game was played without electric lighting obviously.

Yeah right a girl would turn down a buffed dude like him, I only started to get lucky on regular basis ever since I started building up to play Inside linebacker... The violence though is not justified...

The best part of the movie was when he is pressing 315 lbs over his head. Reminds me of when I masturbated to a picture of Jennifer Garner and the veins were popping out of my forearms.
IT WAS HAWT!

that is the man who can defend himself from from that girl's boyfriend who was going to assault just because he was looking at his girlfriend. I don't what the guys' problem. it's a good thing that blond guy knows how to defend himself.

I don't give a shit how much of 'pretty-boy' athlete you are; you sexually assault a lady you go to jail.
I played football my whole life and this is a classic. Everything in this movie occures in real life. I never got in any trouble for the dum things i did in school b/c i was on the football team. There were players that took steroids and no1said anything. Girls would flash us before practice started every day. They should have shown more drinking. We use to get wasted at parties. We considered ourselves family. God and prayer was huge, we prayed before evey game and team meal. God Bless

now of course some things in the movie are over the top but the problems are real. you can't tell me there aren't guys on teams that take steroids, abuse alcohol, come from poor backgrounds etc.
