It Gets Better contribution of Tobias from the Netherlands.

My contribution to the It Gets Better project. I know I screwed up at the start with the names of the foundation/project, but I didn't want to record a new video because that would make it less genuine. Because it's the first take, I also mumble and stutter a bit, apologies for that.

However horrible your experience was, however justified your pain and sadness is. Please believe me that it will get better. It might be hard to believe that the pain will some day decrease, but believe me when I say it will. You will be able to be happy again. Take care and good luck.

I wanted to share my story, hoping that someone can identify with my feelings and/or my situation and can feel like he or she isn't alone. I'm hoping that this will help people get back on their feet, believe that there's a light at the end of the tunnel and be able to eventually be happy again.

I got infected with HIV in my first sexual contact. I always have been denying being gay. thats the reason this happened. After 4 ! years of suffering I started a psychological therapy.

I know that these are different things. But in both cases there is pain. I felt like my whole world was a ruin. I felt so alone and helpless. And I know the thought of commiting suicide too. There was a time I thought of it every day.I was near tears watching your vid.Thank you for spreading a message of hope :)
