Fascism is known as an ideology that was born and flourished in the 20th century.
Yet the roots of this ideology, which exalted war and violence, in fact go back to ancient times, to Sparta.
It spread rapidly across the world in the wake of World War I, with fascist regimes coming to power in Germany and Italy in particular, but also in such countries as Spain and Japan.
Because of fascism, the peoples of these countries suffered terribly and were subjected to frightful savagery.
In this film, you will explore the origins of fascist ideology which rest on old pagan cultures and its link to Darwins theory of evolution, which has formed the basis of various aggressive ideologies all over the world, from the 19th century up to the present day.

  • this video is interesting albeit incorrect in demoizing evolution. The said Theory is accepted by science. Biologists debate on the MEANS of evolution, not whether it exists. To what degree it involves human religion is not in the scope of science. This is the major error of this close-minded approach explaining evils of men. The Nazis had major problems in practice and ideology. They were a self-righteous band of thugs. The human race itself IS the superior race.

  • @butternutsquashpie Of course I know that. The origins of World War I is a far more complicated subject than the origins of World War II.

  • @67nairb I meant to say: that's "not" King Ludwig III walking by.

  • Where was documentary film broadcast?

  • @67nairb waaaaaay too many things responsible for WWI,

England and even France had a part in that too

  • 4:38-4:43 that's King Ludwig III walking by that's Kaiser Wilhelm II, man largely responsible for World War I.

  • @Oswulf1 Thank you.

  • @67nairb It's pronounced like 'pance-nay' (it's French for 'nose-pincher').

  • Swastikas are as old as civilazation itself. They have been found in Buddhist temples in China and India. They've also been found on Indian head dresses and and tipis in North America.

  • Kurt Eisner wore pince nez for glasses. How is that word pronounced? I'm curious.
