i tried Michael's suggestion and it doesn't work for me. when i try and drag an outlook folder to a new folder on the desktop, it won't 'drop' into the new folder (therefore no mbox conversion). I just upgraded to Lion, could that be the reason?

After doing the updates for Outlook it worked like a charm. Thank you!

Michael,

After searching a lot at google (and almost paying up to $40 for apps like EagleFiler or Emailchemy), I've read your step-by-step procedure... It worked out just GREAT!

Thanks a lot and wish you all the best!

Regards,
Marcelo

Thanks Michael,
I have been trying for the last couple of months to find the answer to moving from Outlook, luckily found your way and it was so easy.
I had also thought that I would have to buy Eaglefiler or such to get this done, but hoped that there was some one like you around to help the plebs and not fork out $40 just to use the application only once, because I won't ever be going back to Outlook again.
Thanks again
Richard
