Here is another WB short, directed by Robert McKimson in 1954, as part of the Looney Tunes series. It features Bugs Bunny.
This rip, which is only of so-so quality, is not mine (and has a CN logo). Unfortunately I've yet to come across a better version (and there's none on YT), if you have one, please upload it and let me know.
I believe these classic cartoons, as theatrical shorts, and then as decades of children's TV, have earned their place in the public consciousness and needn't be "earning" any more (money that is). Please enjoy!
(Also, I never add watermarks to these and remove them where possible - I am ultimately trying to get a complete, watermark free collection. Don't be lame and add watermarks to classic cartoons!)
there ain't no place like a hole in the ground, a hole in the ground, a hole in the ground, ..there ain't no place like a hole in the ground , with a big fat goon a floatin' around !...fucking classic !

Good point. Most of the 101 in the LA area goes back to the late forties and you'll see evidence of that from dates on the overpasses. I-5 used to be US 99 and there are still pieces of that being used under the covers. The I-5/CA 14 truck lanes is actually old US 99/US 6 coming together. It's a very old piece of road that's been extensively redone.

The freeway act was the only way Eisemhower could present himself. I wish these twobit fools would stop messin with Bugs Bunny

Interesting that this is 1954. The Eisenhower freeway act was in 1956. I guess freeways (especially around LA) were already being built.

@DaveWollenberg I like the little bit of Edgar Allan Poe's "the Raven" that Bugs recited.

@timt105 LMAO You're right! As a child I never associated the concrete gag as anything more than just silly, it wasn't until now with your comment I got it. Much like the Hays censors gag in "a Tale of Two Kitties" escapes the censors, where Catstello assures the audience after Babbit's demands of "Give me the bird!" that if the Hays office would let him Babbit would certainly get the bird. Where that one is more implied, this gag is just funny and escapes the mind of a child these days.
