Sonic CD Tails Playthrough

If you're strong, you can fly; you can reach the other side of the rainbow.

This is specifically the PSN version and I'm using the US soundtrack because I played the game with the japanese one the first time. After beating the game once as Sonic, you can unlock Tails as a playable character. He doesn't have a super peel-out, but he can fly and he has quite a lot of new sprites. Trophies/achievements are turned off when you play as Tails, though, and you get absolutely nothing for beating the game as him with or without the Time Stones, as I show here. Still, it's a neat feature for this version of the game and you can cheese a few parts of the game to make it ever so slightly easier.

There's a part I edited out later in the video where I had to do a whole section of a level again because I needed exactly one more ring to get to the final special stage. I hope you guys are happy I did that for you.

I've noticed that I've been making quite a few Sonic related videos lately, but that's mostly because the games I've been playing recently have been on a system I can't record: the 3DS.

What happens when you press up and jump button with Tails? You know, like does he have an exclusive alternative to the figure 8 peelout?

Got all the time stones for Tails but nothing spectacular happens... :( 
