Sable (Stephanie Beacham) refuses to believe that her son Miles (Maxwell Caulfield) could be a murderer.

Beacham is only 13 years Caulfield's senior. When "The Colbys" began shooting Beacham was 38, while Caulfield was 25. Katherine Ross who played her 'younger' sister Francesca, is 7 years older than Beacham.

you can definitely tell they TRIED to age Stephanie with those silver highlights. didn't work however. she's flawless. those closeups made it obvious she was closer to age to her children than her hubby and sister.

i agree with iluvbettyb she is flawless she is my role model and i find that fact about franchesca being 7 years old in real life because no offence to katherine ross you can tell... she is perfection and she is deaf in one ear which makes everything very hard. i am also deaf in my right ear and have even less hearing than beacham i only have 15% in my left she has 80% and i am 14 she is 62 which i cant believe ... she looks 50 at the most.. to me she is a prittier version of mary poppins!
