  • does the 24 gal jbj nano cube come with powerheads or do you have to buy them seperately?

  • @Chyi2990 It comes with one that goes in chamber three

  • okay... basicly, want to know what i need and dont need... my local fishh store told me that the retune nossle might be to strong... might need to slpit in two(homemade or if someone sels them online)

  • @grkniko1 These tanks are more for saltwater so that is where my focus is. I can't see the return pump being that strong but I can remember that angelfish do not like the flow. Look on the main page of our shopping site. Look for the hydor rotating deflector. This will attach to the return nozzle. It spins around and disperses flow but it also cuts it down by 20-30%. That should help with your fish.

  • sounds simple... the white filter i can buy from a local store right?...

is there a way i can order over the phone?

  • @grkniko1 Filter floss can be found locally. We do sell a filter floss that is very hard to find locally but other options can be substituted if you do not want to purchase ours. A sheet of ours would last over a month.

It works best to order over the website by going to shop / mediabaskets / com All I would do if you called is go on the site and do the same plus I do not like taking payment info over the phone, it is a lot less secure.

  • amazing product!!! i received it yesterday and today my fishtank is amazing!!!

  • @grkniko1 It all depends on the media you use. We recommend filter floss on top, and changing that as needed say 1-2 times per week. Purigen in the middle and chemi pure elite on the bottom. Those can be changed every 3-4 months.

Because you have a freshwater tank you will still need the white things which are bioballs. They provide your biological filtration. I would remove the sponges, I don't like them. I prefer to change filter floss instead, keeps the water crystal clear.

  • sooo if i buy this product. what is the up keep on it? do i remove all the dirty spongies from both chambers and the two bags,, one is charcal and other is like a white pvc with holes i guess... and keep the second chamber free?
