  • @whitbyjet65 Well I felt the need to correct you. Nightlife is one of my favourite albums.

  • @THINLIZZYFANno1 Sorry but if you will insist on entering soimeone's conversation..........

  • @whitbyjet65 Really now? Go back and check the user name of the comment you copied it from then if you're so sure. I am a big Gary Moore fan, yes; but I am more than anything else a huge Thin Lizzy fan. Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham were the best together but Moore and Lynott were a great duo too!

  • @THINLIZZYFANno1 You did make that claim! I've copied & pasted your original statement : 'far as i'm concerned Gary Moore was a drivin force behind lizzy'. You're just a big Gary Moore fan. He wasn't the best guitarist in Lizzy, in my opinion.

  • @whitbyjet65 I wasn't making that claim but he was on two albums not one. However I do believe that Black Rose was possibly their best album and Brian Downey himself claims that Moore's aggressive demeanor had a huge effect on Phil's writing of that album.

  • @THINLIZZYFANno1 He played on Nightlife but he didn't write any of the songs so your claim of Gary being the driving creative force behind Lizzy doesn't stack up. Plus Nightlife wasn't exactly the most exciting Lizzy album. Even the band admitted that.

  • @whitbyjet65 Nightlife

  • @THINLIZZYFANno1 Which was the other one then?

  • @whitbyjet65 He was actually on TWO

  • @Grumberf With the greatest respect, I don't think Sweden can be used as a measure of Lizzy's overall success. I liked Gary Moore but to say he was the driving force of Lizzy, is just ludicrous. He was on one album...ONE!
